UNINETT has decided to end the UNISA pilot after the 1st of January 2001. Main reason for this is that now UNINETT members can get similar services from commercial companies, and that UNISA didn't seem to fulfil any additional needs amongst our members.
UNINETT will still look into the area of "electronic identities" and "secure exchange of information", for example in a project called "FEIDE".
Those of our users that are looking for similar demo services, as the ones that used to be available on these pages, can have a look at services at GMD and EuroPKI Top Level Certification Authority.
PCA was revoced by EuroPKI as of 1st of January 2001, so certificates
issued by UNINETT PCA will no longer be of any use to verify messages, if
receivers of such messages really do check CRLs.
